- TRANSFORMATIONAL GEOMETRY IN ACTION -- Create reflections with this transparent, freestanding tool. Use reflections to trace lines, angles, bisectors and shapes. Also demonstrate flips, slides and reflections right on the page!
- HOW TO USE: TRACING -- Place the Reflective GeoMirror next to the image you would like to trace. Make sure the beveled edge is faced down and toward you. This is important! The beveled edge bends light, which is essential to create reflections. The reflection will appear on the opposite side of the mirror. Reach around the other side and trace it.
- FIND THE LINE OF REFLECTION -- After you've created the reflection, move the Reflective GeoMirror until the reflection is positioned directly opposite of the original image. Trace a pencil where the beveled edge meets the paper. located the distance where both images perfectly reflect – the Line of Reflection!
- CLEARLY UNDERSTAND SYMMETRY -- Place the Reflective GeoMirror in the middle of a shape. When the reflection is perfectly aligned with the original shape, trace a line along the beveled edge. That's the Line of Symmetry. Further observe symmetry with mirrors at either ends of this Mira-style tool.
- HANDS-ON GEOMETRY -- Kids perform geometry with this geo mirror, which improves memorization of terms and definitions. Kids won't just understand geometric definitions - they'll understand geometric relationships with practice!
- ENGAGE ALL LEARNERS -- Use the Reflective GeoMirror in individual, pair or group learning. The Reflective GeoMirrors engage tactile learners as they manipulate and create shapes. Auditory learns can talk about their creations and what they learned.
